#prices and availability
We keep the site truthful, but details like prices, hours and availability can change before the page does. The figure or time you rely on is always the one confirmed with us directly.
#engagements
The scope, timing and price of any actual work are agreed individually, in writing, before it begins. Nothing on this site by itself constitutes an offer that binds either side.
#liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cosmic Oasis Studio accepts no liability for indirect losses arising from the use of this site. Linked third-party sites are outside our control and their content is their own.
#changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business changes; the version published here is the one in force. Material changes will be visible on this page.
#applicable law
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the registered location of Cosmic Oasis Studio, and disputes fall to the competent courts there.
#health and safety
Yoga carries an ordinary physical risk. Tell your teacher about injuries, pregnancy, or medical conditions before class so the practice can be adapted, and stop any movement that causes pain rather than working through it.
#bookings and cancellations
Term places and drop-in spots are confirmed once payment clears. Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice for a class credit; later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded, since the space could not be offered to someone else in time.
#studio conduct
Please arrive with enough time to settle before class starts, keep phones silent, and let your teacher know before your first session if you are new to the practice. Persistent lateness or disruptive behaviour may mean a place is not held for a future term.
#no waiver
If we do not immediately act on a breach of these terms, that does not mean the right to act on it later is given up.
#severability
If any clause of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continue to apply as written.
#class packages and passes
Term passes and class packs are valid for the period stated at purchase and do not roll over automatically. A pass paused for injury or travel can usually be extended — ask before it expires rather than after.
#waitlists
Popular classes run a waitlist. A place offered from the waitlist is held for 24 hours before it passes to the next person, so please confirm promptly once you hear from us.
#mats and props
The studio provides mats, blocks and straps for anyone who needs them at no extra charge. Personal equipment brought into the studio is your own responsibility.
#substitute teachers
Alan teaches the great majority of classes personally. On the rare occasion he is unavailable, a qualified substitute covers the session rather than cancelling it, and the term schedule continues as published.
#notice
Formal notices about a booking are sent by email to the address on file and are treated as received the next business day, whether the message concerns a term pass, a private session, or a general enquiry about the studio.
